So thankful to have this place near home. The chicken strips and waffle, macaroni, candied yams and banana pudding. I cannot complain at all. Everything was well done and flavored to perfection. I'm looking forward to becoming a regular. That if I lived far the drive would be so worth it. There is still more to try. Can't wait. Super clean inside and out. Very relaxing environment
The place is kind of in the middle of nowhere but with going to. As soon as you walk in you're immediately greeted by the delicious smells and employees with great customer service. There's an option for drive thru, order inside, or dine in (small dining room with 9 booths). It took about 15-20 mins because it is cook to order. Everything was delicious, chicken comes with a hot honey type of sauce on the side (at least that's what it tasted like to me). Only minor things I would mark down for is the rice in the rice and gravy was mushy, the yams were a bit under cooked, and the texture on the nana's pudding was a bit off but everything else was delicious. Definitely a must try.
I found this place on Yelp & we made the drive from Rialto. I can tell this is a family owned establishment. The service was very friendly. The place was new & clean, even the restrooms. The lunch & dinner meals include a side & drink. For $19.99 I got a waffle, 2 sides, 4 pieces chicken & drink. The chicken was just ok. Not bad but nothing above Albertson's or Winco. The Mac n cheese was delicious & well seasoned. The onion powder gave it a savory flexor. Creamy, but not clog your arteries cheesy. The yams were also on point, tender & delicious. The waffle was thick & darker then what I'm used to but they had good syrup & it was delicious. Def a must try & if I'm in that neck of the woods I'll go again.
Inside was nice and clean, no complaints lots of space and good for groups as well. I only went in for sides since I had just ate. I ordered Mac & cheese / greens. Greens were steamy, hot, and very flavorful I'd go back for them anytime I'm in the area and crave some. Mac and cheese was different than any others I've had. Cheesy for sure. I would say they could have served hotter in temperature as they were warm. It would help so they wont cool down quickly.
